Never Change is an upbeat, yet gritty modern pop track taking influences from RnB and Latin music, mixed together into a unique sound, with smooth vocals and storytelling lyrics, from my debut album “lilac pond”. The song is about a friend who came out the other end of a bad relationship, which turned sour quickly, and how throughout their time, everybody else around them could see it falling down, but they couldn’t. The song is about that friend, but is *directed* towards the ex and the mistakes they made – it is an accessible and probably somewhat relatable song for a lot of people, and I’m super happy I get to share it!
lilac frog is an alias of English producer and artist Harri Hocking – the alias reflects what he creates from his small bedroom studio – colourful and abstract music with a natural and authentic tone throughout with quirky but honest storytelling.
